Mauni and I took a trip up the 101 on Sunday, ending up at Swami's Beach just before sunset. Click on a photo to go to the full gallery.





I hope Annabel didn't lose my card and that she'll find this blog. 





I'm no surfer, but I'm guessing that the thing that makes this such a well-known surf spot is the south-facing beach. With the sun setting to the north, this opened up some new compositions that were a pleasant surprise.



Colors and textures are everywhere at sunset, all you have to do is find them.





Once the twilight faded, the longer exposures brought out some different colors in the night.
