Jesse LaMonaca came to Ian's Dirty Blvd Studios a couple weeks ago for a recording of a podcast. I grabbed some shots before his voice gave out on him from some recent marathon gigs. They did the actual recording a couple days later, which you can hear here. Click on a photo to go to the full gallery.





That little white triangle up there between his arm, body, and guitar trips me out. It's the minimum amount of white that can define the relatively large amount of black space around it.



We were going to do some rhythm tracks, but the associate producer had already reserved his spot. He was growling something about laying down some deep cuts, but I think he was just laying down.
