The Long and Short of It, Boyscout, Death Eaters at the Casbah, 5/8/10
Heather went Vegas with friends last weekend, so I thought I might be able to get into some drunken debauchery myself at the Casbah, if three beers over the course of five hours counts.
I shot Death Eaters last year at the Belly Up but wasn't all that happy with my shots, so I wanted to give them something better this time.

I went for a high vibrance, low saturation look which seemed to fit them.

They played the Red Dress song, so I was happy.
--------------------------------------------
I wasn't going to shoot Boyscout again, but when they put on the matching white uniforms for Yacht Rock night, I couldn't resist.
They're packing dance floors now, so I could only shoot from my favorite spot. It gave me the perfect place to shoot their horn section.
Other than that, just the guitarists...
Sean from Firethorn and I were talking after their set, and decided that Boyscout needs to add both of us as bassists so that they can complete the double-trio configuration and then they will be properly equipped to dominate the world.
------------------------------
During that same conversation, Natalie and I were talking about how great a subject The Long and Short of It are with Ben being such an enthusiastic performer, but the perfect shot of him always proves to be elusive.
They came out in cloaks to tie in with their videos, so I tried really hard to finally get that shot. Ben, give me a countdown to what I think is your definitive shot.
Ready?
That's it. I can't do any better.
