Dizzy

It's hard to lose one cat, much less two in the space of four weeks. Dizzy was our cat for a few years, but a heart murmur and liver failure took him very suddenly. He never warmed up to me, but he was a best friend to Heather. Almost every night, I'd walk into the bedroom to find him right next to her, enjoying a belly rub or just being in her presence. He would see me, give me a look that said, "Oh, I see your other man decided to show up" and then saunter back under the bed.

He certainly wasn't a people cat, but he was easy to deal with, incredibly low-maintenance, and friendly, as long as it was on his terms.

Dizzy was a shy cat. He needed to be shown what fun cats can do with humans. He was always gentle with me. He brought me a smile when I was sad or upset. His paws were soft like mittens. I loved him very much and will miss his presence in our house. Bye Dizzy
